Located in Pyuthan district at an altitude of 6960ft above sea level, Swargadwari is a prominent pilgrimage site in Nepal, which exemplifies the unique position of cows in Hindu culture. Recognizing its cultural significance, Swargadwari has been enlisted in a national inventory of Cultural and Historic Heritage Sites.

Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks has devised a compact package tour of 6 days to Swargadwari that displays to you the miraculous western region of Nepal.  Vedic Yagya organized by Swami Shree Hansananda Giri Sworgadwari Mahapravu ushered Swargadwari into the limelight. Hindu Scripture mentions an incident where Indra - King of Gods  visited Swargadwari during Satya Yuga to perform Yagya. This very fact makes a strong case for ascertaining the chief position in Hindu Religion. Description of Swargadwari never becomes complete without talking about Guru Maharaj and his desciples.  Swargadwari Tour initiates from Kathmandu and takes us through Bhingri Valley that offers enchanting views of Dhaulagiri Himalayan Range in a clear sunny day.  Swargadwari is the Sanskrit Term that can be broken down into two separate words-‘Swarga’ and ‘Dwari’ which translated into English means ”Gateway to Heaven”. Any Holy devotee engaging in Swargadwari Tour is believed to ascend to Heaven. Cows are the chief attraction of Swargadwari as there are more than 500 local cows staying there. In participating in the Swargadwari Tour, your spirit will be filled by this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
