Domestic Airfares in Nepal

In Nepal, Nepal Airlines, Buddha Airlines, and Himalaya Airlines are the three major domestic airlines in operation, among which Nepal Airlines has an extensive network of air services to some of the major destinations of the country operating from the base of the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Besides these, 16+ other domestic airlines provide regular and charter services to some of the most famous places within Nepal, which mostly operate early morning, one-hour minimum flights round-the-year.

Airport Tax:

While you book the airport tickets, the payment also includes airport tax so that the passengers departing for international destinations from the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu don’t have to repay at the airport during the departure.

However, domestic travel within Nepal does add airport tax to ticket fares for flights from Kathmandu and for flights from different parts of the country to the capital city in the domestic airport before departing.
