Nepal is known for its lakes just as much as its Himalayas and Rara Lake is one of the famous lakes of Nepal. Surrounded by the mountains, Rara Lake is the biggest and deepest freshwater lake in Nepal. Rara Lake Trek is the opportunity that will guide you to this beauty that is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and has been said to be "a shimmering blue jewel set in a ring of snowy peaks" by Bill Greer of the Great Outdoors Recreation Pages.

The trekking journey takes place in the far Western region of Nepal in Jumla and Mugu district. The trail will lead you through the local community consisting of Thakuri Malla and Tibetian influence tribes with rich old traditions and customs. The custom and tradition of Nepalese differ according to their region, and you will get many opportunities to catch a glimpse of the diversified culture and tradition of Nepal along the way.
