You are welcome the Lhasa, Tibet. Our Guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. This is one of the most spectacular flights in the world as we follow the high mountain peaks before crossing over the Himalayan chain to the high Tibetan Plateau. On arrival at Gongkar Airport we are met and driven by coach to the fabled city of Lhasa, which lies at 3650 metres above sea level.

Since you are already in Lhasa, you will not miss out on the city’s major highlights, such as Potala Palace, the winter palace for the Dalai Lama, Jokhang, the central cathedral of Tibet, Barkhor, the Tibetan Medical Center, Norbulinka Palace, and others as decided by your guide.

On this day, you will leave Lhasa behind and head to Shigatse, which reaches Yamdrok Tsho Lake in about 2-3 hours of drive and further moves to Kampala Pass at 4,794 m to take a small break offering sublime sight of turquoise Yamdrok Tsho Lake, Mt. Nojin Kangtsang, and others.
On roughly covering 90km, you would have arrived at Shigatse. En route, you can visit Kubum Stupa, Pelkor Code Monastery, and Shalu Monastery, while once you reach Shigatse, visiting Tashilhunpao Monastery with the seat of Panchen Lama, the second Buddhist religious hierarchy adds much to the spiritual and cultural dimensions.

It is one of the most highly lighted Nepal Tibet Bhutan Tours when you leave the hotel in Shigatse early and move forth to the North Everest Base Camp in Tibet, also called Rombuk, which is quite long driving for almost seven hours, which is equally rewarding. You climb in a series of zigzags to the top of Pang La Pass.
From the pass, you can capture one of the most stunning views of Mount Everest, gradually leading you to Rombuk Valley and its infamous monastery and then to the Base Camp itself at an elevation of 5,150 m above sea level.

There is a long day ahead of you that can take between seven and eight hours that passes through a checkpost and continue towards Tingri, blessed with expansive sight of the world’s highest peaks, including above 8,000 m Cho Oyu, ascending to Lalung La with a mesmerizing view of Shishapangma.
However, from the top of the Lalung La Pass, the path mostly descends nearly 3,000 m.

The 7th day is when the journey to Bhutan, the land of the thunder dragon, begins with a mountain flight to Paro, blessed with the panoramic sight of snow-capped Himalayan giants, including the world’s tallest peak, Mt. Everest.
Upon your arrival at Paro, filled with alpine forests and farmhouses where you can visit the Ta Dzong Museum, Rimpong Dzong, you will be received by a representative who will transfer you to the restaurant for a delicious meal and then drive you to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, with a lot more to explore and marvel at.

Once a rustic village sitting in a broad, fertile river valley, Thimphu is today the nation’s bustling capital. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing, including a visit to the National Memorial Chorten. This temple was first initiated by the Third King as a protection from the negative elements of modernisation, and as a monument to world peace. Continue on to 12th century Changangkha Temple and Drubthob monastery housing the Zilukha Nunnery. Other sites to visit include: the School for Arts and Crafts where students are taught the 13 types of Bhutanese art,,the Traditional Paper Factory displaying the Bhutanese paper making process, and a fascinating replica of a medieval farmhouse at the Folk Heritage Museum. If there is time, you may visit the nursing pen for the Takin, the national animal of Bhutan, and Tashichhodzong, ‘the fortress of the glorious religion’ Tashichhodzong houses some ministries, His Majesty’s secretariat, and the central monk body. Drive over the Dochu-La pass (3,100 meters), which on a clear day offers an incredible view of Himalayan peaks before descending into balmy Punakha valley (about 3 hrs total driving time). The drive through the countryside affords a glimpse of everyday life in this most remote of Himalayan Kingdom. Punakha was the ancient capital of Bhutan. On arrival, visit Punakha Dzong, the “Palace of Great Happiness” built in 1637 by the Shabdrung, the ‘Unifier of Bhutan’. It is situated at the confluence of the Mo Chu and Pho Chu (Mother and Father Rivers) and is the winter headquarters of the Je Khenpo and hundreds of monks who move en masse from Thimphu to this warmer location. After lunch, enjoy a walk to Chimi Lhakhang, temple of the Drukpa Kuenly who is also known as the Divine Madman. He inherited the Divine Madman title since he revolted against the orthodox Buddhism in his time. He taught the people that religion is an inner feeling and it’s not necessary that one should be an ordained monk. He is also considered a symbol of fertility and most childless couples go to his temple for blessing. Overnight at your hotel in Punakha/ Wangduephodrang.

In the morning drive to Yabesa village and hike to through ricefields and up to Khamsum Yueley Namgyal Chorten, built by her majesty the queen Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuk. Perched high on a hill on the bank of the river, the Chorten houses paintings belonging to Nyingmapa Traditions. Drive back to Thimphu where you will have an opportunity to visit handicraft and souvenir stores. Afterwards proceed to Paro, visiting Semtokha Dzong en route. The Dzong, built in 1627, is the oldest in Bhutan. It now houses the Institute for Language and Culture studies. On arrival in Paro, check into the hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Paro.

The combined tour to Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan includes a hike to Taktsang Monastery in Paro and a visit to Drukgyel Dzong ruins dating back to the 17th century. The monastery built on a cliff face offers an unmatchable spiritual retreat followed by spectacular views of the surrounding area, which is also believed to be the origin point of Buddhism in Bhutan.
The day tour also involves visiting 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang Temple, built by Songtsen Gampo, and picturing the Haa Valley through Chelila Pass, culminating finally at a hotel in Paro before officially departing from Bhutan the very next day.
