Everest Renjo La Trek is the most preferred trekking destination in the region of Everest because of the breathtaking views it offers.  Our Everest Renjo La Trek combines the Everest Base Camp Trek along with one of the popular passes of the Everest Region—Renjo La Pass.  It is the full-package offer, and even includes a visit to the magical high alpine Gokyo Lake.  Besides having the wonderful opportunity to trek alongside the famous mountain peaks like Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and others, Everest Renjo-La Pass Trek provides the additional opportunity to pass across the Renjo La Pass and participate in a more thrilling adventure.

The total trekking duration of Everest Renjo-La Trek is 21 days. The best seasons for the Everest Renjo-La Trek are February to June, and September to November. During the spring, the flowers are blooming, and in the fall, the skies are clearer.  However, July and August are comparatively good for hiking but the fact is you may or may have good visibility due to cloud cover/rain. The nature of trekking grade is a bit strenuous. Tea house is preferred as an accommodation for Everest Renjo La Trek .If you are planning to trek in a group then you must know the group size is for the trek. The maximum and minimum numbers of people in a group is arranged with 120 only. The minimum altitude of Everest Renjo La Trek is 2840 m and its maximum altitude is 5,345 m. Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu On the 1st day you will be transferred from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to the hotel where we will brief you with the detailed itinerary. Overnight stay in a hotel.
  • Day 02Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley Kathmandu Valley includes several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath, and a Buddhist stupa in Boudhanath. We can also visit Swyambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple, built roughly 2000 years ago. Finally, we can visit Patan, city of fine arts. In the afternoon, you will be meeting with your trekking guide and will check all the necessary things. Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Day 03Flight to Lukla (2860m) and trek to Phakding (2652m)After a 40 minute scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, you will trek to Phakding. Everest Base Camp trip begins at Lukla and follow Phakding, which takes approximately 3 – 4 hours. Along the way you can have a view of Mt Nupla (5885m) and Kusum Kangaru (6367m). Overnight in Phakding (2652 m).
  • Day 04Phakding to Namche (3,440 m) Starting from a slight rise to Jorsalle, the trail passes waterfalls and other cultural and natural attractions. During the day, you will be passing through the Sherpa villages viewing magnificent forests. Rhododendron trees, magnolias and giant firs provide a stunning backdrop to this part of the walk. En route you will be rewarded with their first glimpse of Kusum Kangru (6369m) Thamserku (6608m) Everest (8,848 m) and Nuptse (7879 m). (Weather permitting) a steep climb up the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar (3440m) which will produce more spectacular views and a comfortable place to spend the second night of the trek. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
  • Day 05Acclimatization day in Namche Acclimatization is important before proceeding to a higher elevation. It is therefore recommended that you should take a short day's hike to Thame, Khunde, Khumjung or up to the Everest View Hotel so that we can see a clear view of Mount Everest. You can even relax and explore the culture of Sherpa in Namche. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
  • Day 06Trek to Thame (3820) 5 to 5 ½ hrs Today, we will walk approximately 5 to 5 ½ hours to Thame, a villagesituated at the end of the Khumbu Valley. We are surprised at the simplicity of the lives' of the people who live there, untouched by the effects of modernization. During the walk, we will pass a variety of Buddhist monuments, including prayer flags, Chhortens and carved Mani rocks. Overnight stay at a guest house.
  • Day 07Trek to Lungdeng (4500m) Today we will walk uphill about 5 to 5 and half hour to Lungden the path goes through many old Sherpa villages. During the walk we can see the rich biodiversity found in the region, as well as the unique Sherpa culture. We might even share the road with Tibetan Yak Caravans, as villagers use the path as a trade route to and from Tibet. Overnight stay at lodge Lungden.
  • Day 08Rest day and explore the surroundings Today, we'll visit Nakpa Valley, which falls on the ancient trade route to Tibet. You'll hike the peak Darkyachhulung and/or you can also visit the sacred site of Marlung Warfield. The excursion to Lake Relmo Cho will give you pleasure and after that you will be back to Lungdeng. There are plenty of jaw-dropping excursions that you can choose from to explore and help acclimate today. Overnight stay at lodge Lungden.
  • Day 09Trek to Renjo La Pass (5415m) Today the hike will take approximately 6 hours to reach the Gokyo Lake, the intersection of Renjo La Pass (5415m). The path often follows steep up and downs along a ridge of sand. You will cross over an icy stream, and walk through around the spectacular rock formations. The view that you will have from the top is amazing along with the snowy peaks from 7000 to 8000, including Kala Patthar and many others. Overnight stay at Gokyo Lake in Guesthouse.
  • Day 10Explore around Gokyo Lake The excursion to Gokyo Peak (or Gokyo Ri) begins early in the morning. The climb is quite steep for the first 30 minutes, and overall it takes about an hour to reach the top. From where you will have a magnificent view of the high peaks, from west to east are Cho (8153 m), Gyachung Kang (7922 m), Everest (8848 m), Lhotse (8501m) and Makalu. In addition, you can enjoy the magnificent views of the majestic Gokyo Lake from the top. Overnight stay in the Gokyo Lake in Guesthouse.
  • Day 11Trek to Thangnak (4700m) On the 11th day we will head towards Thangnak (4700m) from Gokyo Lake, crossing the Gokyo Glacier. Overall, the route takes about an hour. We can take your lunch on the way to our destination. Thangnak is a gorgeous alpine village nestled high in the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Thangnak.
  • Day 12Journey to Cho-La-Dzongla (5330m)The journey through Cho La Pass (5330 m) covers a strenuous route, though it is passable with little mountaineering experience. It is suggested to carry warm clothing and some extra food. It is certain that you will not encounter any technical problems, as there is a clear path between the rocks, besides the icefall. Overnight stay at a guest house.
  • Day 13Lobuche Dzongla (4910m) 4 ½ hours On the 13th day, we will head to Lobuche Dzongla (4910m) from Cho- La. As you descend you will see the trail that leads gradually to Lobuche (4910m), taking 4 ½ hours. Meanwhile you will see the Dughla Lake with surrounding beautiful scenery. Overnight stay in Lobuche.
  • Day 14Trek to Gorakshep (5140 m) The trail from Lobuche follows the valley of grassy alpine meadows with great views of Pumori. Then the trails crosses tributary glaciers to reach the dry lake bed in Gorakshep. After taking lunch at Gorakshep, we will move forward at Kala Patthar (5545m), which offers absolutely stunning views of Everest and Everest Base Camp. After taking in the views and snapping some photos, we head back to the Gorakshep. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
  • Day 15Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp and back to Lobuche On the 15th day you will head to Everest Base Camp from Gorakshep. You will go for an early morning walk to Everest Base Camp and take our time enjoying this legendary place. From there we will go back down to Lobuche. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
  • Day 16Trek to Dingboche (4343 m) The trek to Dingboche (4343m) will be the longer and more difficult one as you have to descend the valley of the Imja Khola and have to trek through the village of Chhukung (4900m) with the fields of potatoes, stone walls, down through alpine pastures near Kharkas Tsura, Shomare Orsho and the Pangboche village. Pangboche Gompa (monastery) is the oldest in the Khumbu and once boasted the skull and hand of a Yeti, (stolen in 1991) Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
  • Day 17Trek to Tengboche (3867 m) The trek to Chhukung (4900m) will be the longer and more difficult one as you have to descend the valley of the Imja Khola and have to trek through the village of Dingboche with the fields of potatoes stone walls, down through alpine pastures Kharkas Tsura, Shomare Orsho and the Pangboche village, the highest year Round Agreement in the valley. The Pangboche Gompa (monastery) is the oldest in the Khumbu and once boasted the skull and hand of a Yeti (stolen in 1991). Overnight stay at a guesthouse
  • Day 18Back to Namche We will walk along the hillside covered with rhododendrons and junipers. If it is spring, you will be enchanted with pink and red rhododendron flowers around you. At last you will reach Namche for the night. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
  • Day 19Return to Lukla Today, the trail descends steeply down before crossing the suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. From here, the trail becomes more flat. We pass forests of Rhododendron and Pine trees along with the view of the snow peaks in the distance before reaching Phakding. After taking lunch you will be continuing the trek to Lukla. The last night with this crew trek will be memorable. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.
  • Day 20Flight to Kathmandu On the last day you will be thanking the porters, who were a crucial part of the trek. From Lukla, we will take one-hour flight back to Kathmandu. If the flight is on schedule, it is likely to be back at the hotel before noon and you can have a good shower and rest in the afternoon. We'll have a celebratory dinner in Kathmandu.

In general I found the area around the mountain very beautiful! Also the Base Camp was nice to visit and the spirit there is quite impressive. Our Guide and porter were amazing!
