While trekking through the side of a frozen lake, we reach at the top of the pass decorated with prayer flags. The pyramidal Ama Dablam presides over a range of mountains on the south even as Cholatse soars to the west and Lobuche East and Baruntse rises sharply to our right. We can spend the rest of day taking a rest which will help us prepare for the next day’s long trek. Overnight in Lobuche.

In the first section of trek we will start from Lobuche following the narrow space between the moraine of the glacier and the wall, then cross the tributary mountain glaciers to reach the dry lake bed known as Gorakshep. Before Tengboche the trail drops to Phunki Thanga, which passes through pine forests with an opportunity to see wildlife such as Mountain Goats, Snow Leopard and colorful pheasants. At last you will reach Namche for the night. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Today, the trail descends steeply down before crossing the suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi river. From here, the trail becomes more flat.
