Our Ganesh Himal (Singla Pass) Trek is a full package that brings you face-to-face with massive Himalayan peaks while passing charming villages along the way. Ganesh Himal is to the west of Langtang Himal and east of Manasulu range. It stretches between the two rivers: Trisuli and Budhigandaki. The main peak along our trek is Ganesh Himal (7429m). The region has altogether 7 peaks, each with its distinctive character. These mountains stretch so far into the sky that they can be seen from Kathmandu. It a precious area where the simple Himalaya life can be still observed. The charm of this area is that it offers a peaceful, yet varied trekking experience, visiting some peaceful Tamang villages, hot spas, gorges and glaciers, etc.
The course starts from Trisuli Bazaar, in the semitropical sun, and goes up to a fairly high elevation, where close views of Ganesh 7163m are enjoyed. After crossing over two passes, the trail descends back to Syabrubesi. The highest elevation we reach is over 4000m. The Langtang Himal is north of the Kathmandu Valley, lying just south of the Tibetan border. The Ganesh Himal (Singla Pass) Trek is a prime example of temperate and sub alpine vegetation. The dense oak and pine forests on the trail of particular interest. As usual, the blooming rhododendrons form a spectacular display of color during the Spring. This high and isolated region is inhabited by the Tamang ethnic group, whose religious practices, language and dress are similar to their northern neighbors in Tibet.
