Paragliding in Nepal is an incredibly an awe-inspiring experience for the adventure seekers. We will take you on an aerial escapade over some of the best sceneries on earth. You share the space in the air with Himalayan griffin vultures, eagles, and other creatures of the sky as you float over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes and jungles, savoring the fantastic view of the majestic Himalayas of central Nepal, including Annapurna & Dhaulagiri ranges.
Paragliding is a weather dependent sky sport, so to fly, the best months for weather and visibility begin from September to February. This most safe and famous place for paragliding in Nepal is from the hilltop of Sarangkot that overlooks Pokhara, the scenic tourist town of western Nepal. Gliding takes off from the elavation of (1592m) (5,220ft), and lands in a open space beside Fewa lake. Observing glory of Annapurna range and beautiful landscape around Pokhara valley, Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhre), Lamjung Himal, Annapaurna Himal, Himchuli, Fewa Lake, rice field, rivers and settlements below gives you thrills with a great photographic opportunity. This exhilerating glide makes your dream come true.
Paragliding Adventure Tour does not required any previous experience, as the qualified pilots provide a short but detailed briefing before the gliding, guiding you through it. There is nothing to be worried about. This 30 to 45 minute flight will give you memories to last a lifetime. Those who want to find out what paragliding is all about but cannot commit two days of instruction, we offer you tandem flights as well. During the flight, the pilot will explain what he/she is doing and allow you some hands-on control of the glider.
