Yala Peak Climbing (5732m) is targeted for adventure lovers who want to take the pleasure to stand on the summit of a peak with a panoramic Himalayan view before their eyes. The route is relatively short, does not require any previous climbing experience, and is not a techinically difficult climb. However, it does require moderate stamina and fitness. More importantly, though, it requires a strong determination and love for the great outdoors. As the altitude of the peak is a mild one, Yala Peak Climbing is also recommended to those trekkers and peak climbers who are young and amateur, before they look to climb other difficult peaks like Mount Annapurna, Everest, and several other peaks.
Yala Peak is situated in the Langtang Region, just a day's walk from Kyanjin Gompa. The Base Camp of Yala Peak is magnificent with dense forest and unique traditional ethnic settlement areas. But it does require an experience related to outdoor activities and a good level of physical fitness. After fulfilling certain requirement, you can enjoy Yala Peak Climbing and have a life-long experience of peak climbing in Nepal. After exploring the sights and sounds of Kathmandu valley and mentally preparing for the journey, we take a drive to Sybru Besi from Kathmandu. Trekking through dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements through Lama Hotel, Langtang Village and Kyanjin Gompa, we reach the wonderful base camp of Yala peak. We feast our eyes on the stunning views of many beautiful mountains – Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) on the Tibetan side.
