Compared to the olden days, trekking has become more accessible and comfortable for trekkers. Lodgings have been established in main trekking areas making it easy to find food and accommodation as well as meet fellow trekkers and blend with the locals along the way.

Various Nepal trekking packages are available these days to make the trip, even more, easier for trekkers. The most popular Nepal trekking packages have been Everest Base Camp which is a 14 days trail and Annapurna Base Camp.

The Everest Base Camp trek is a trail that ends at the base of the World's tallest mountain. The 14 days trail beginning from Lukla will lead the trekkers upward to Sherpa Capital of Namche Bazaar following the valley of Dudh Koshi river. Tengboche and Dingboche are further stops along the route where the trekkers will take a good rest and acclimatize before reaching the final stop at Gorak Shep.
